Statement: I was first told about Key Club by Aseile, who told me about all the great things that go on in Key Club. At first, I joined to earn community service hours, but soon learned that you can gain much more out of it. The service activities are not only fun and rewarding, but you gain a sense of self accomplishment and meet new people along the way. I've learned many life skills through Key Club, and will take with me what I've learned for the rest of my life. I think Key Club is one of the best clubs in our school, and hope that it changes the views of many students for as long as community service is needed!

Statement: When I first walked into Dearborn High and realized that I was in a totally different environment, I knew that the first thing I had to do was get aquainted with the people around me. Within the second week of freshmen year, the morning announcements introduced me to Key Club and from then on I knew that this club was perfect!! Not only have I been given the oppurtunity to meet many students through this organization, but I've earned many community service hours. Key Club has allowed me to contribute to society, while having fun, which has brought me to the position I am in today!

Office Position: Secretary

Years in Key Club: 2 Years

Statement: When joining Key Club for the first time i did it because i knew it looked good for college, but as i started doing multiple events i learned that it was rewarding as much as it was enjoyable. Going to events was something i ended up looking forward to. I also love to work with kids as well as senior citizens and to see them be so appreciative of our work is a reward in and of itself. I liked helping people and doing it with my friends. Another big plus about key club was that i met so many new friends at not only events but interclub activties and convention. The fun, entertaining, and helpful deeds we do, we do together and  thats makes it even more rewarding.

Statement:I like being in Key Club because it is very important to me to give back to the community. I enjoy all the activities that Key Club participates in and I love to see the smiling faces of the people we help. Key Club is a great way to get the youth involved in helping the community in fun ways. The Club helps build team working skills, and i enjoy working with people who care as strongly about helping the community. My favorite activities that I look forward to every year are the Wheel Chair Basketball Game and Safety town. The Wheel Chair Basketball Game makes me feel happy seeing all the kids having fun and not having to worry about anything. Safety town is a great way to teach young kids about safety while adding in some fun educational activities.
